I have been out in awhile to do some blogging stuff and the like. And honestly, i miss doing so. I have struggles in the past months that’s why blogging have been neglected but today, i am thinking that finally, i can do it again! God must be good to me all this time.
My blogsite www.kaartehanstudio.com was down intentionally. I already transfered all blog entries to this tumblr account because my hardwork of writing will soon be put into waste if i will not do so..
But today is such a happy day because i already found someone to rebuild a new blogsite but my heart still belongs to my old one because i have been very hardworking in putting it up. But if God will not permit it, i will be happy also. I guess, the blogsite was really not meant for me in the 1st place. ;)
Please please wait for my newly put up blogsite. I will be meeting with a trusted website designer for it to make into a reality. but for now, i will be happy to share my discovery starting today and moving forward.

I think am getting a little serious, matured nowadays even when choosing a day & night beauty routine.. Lols! Fitness Diary: Week 3/General Motors Diet
Sorry to be out for a long time, you know that i am super busy about my fitness routine and also i am kinda preparing for my next week summer vacation.
Since i do promise you to give you an update every week, here’s my 3rd week progress. You all know that i have been very serious since day 1 about loosing weight. From last week weight of 50kg, am down to 47.9kg already and my waist is back to 26inches as well.. I am so happy with the results it gave me and surprisingly i survived and never being tempted to eat a lot.
Most of my friends were asking me what is GM diet all about. I heard this many times and planned this many times as well but this time i had the guts to do it with the motivation of some of my lovely friends. If you wanna know more about this diet you can visit GM Diet.
Here’s a peak of my week meal plan:

I admit that this is the hardest diet i experienced, oftentimes i get dizzy and i had to drink a lot of water but i love the results it gave me. At night, i drink the sassy water as my anti-bloat regimen.
For my fourth week, i decided to continue of course. Our meal plan should be more exercise and protein to feed our muscles, we are now on the toning part. I need to tone my muscles since i already lost a lot. But to do this, my weight would be on the 50kg side because we should eat one meal a day but i don’t wanna inject any kind of carbs, salt and sodas. If i wanna eat more kcal, I should burn them immediately.
Thank goodness that the answers to my healthy living is very near me! If i can’t think of any food to take, i can now rush at Juju Eats in Eastwood to have a happy tummy.

Fitness Diary: Week 2/Tasteless Meal
Hello there fitness buddies!
After finishing my NO CARBS week, i lost almost 2kg from it. From 54.5kg when i started, i weighed 52.9kg as i started my tasteless meal plan last week. I promised to tell you the story of my diet and fitness routine every week. Again, i owed my entire loosing (weight loss) to all my fitness buddy, the group i have on facebook. The meal plan for 6 days, all are tasteless, no seasoning of whatsoever.
When i looked at the meal plan that i will be preparing, i feel kinda excited because it is my very first time to really get so serious on my diet routine, i am talking about healthy diet here. The 2nd week meal plan is kinda boring, yes, there were times i had wished that i can eat a meal with condiments because i am really a fan of fish sauce and the like.
If you really want to have a serious diet, you need to learn to shop for yourself. So, i bought my ingredients for the week and yes, being on a diet, you should shell out a little amount and time as well.
This meal plan is a balanced diet of fruits, veggies and protein, again, no heavy carbs for this week so that it will be more easier for us to burn all the food. Diet takes time, hard-work and perseverance, it is not about just eating the diet meal but also burning all the unnecessary fats we have in our body. If we just eat, eat and we don’t let it burn, our routine will not be successful either. That is why, as soon as i started my routine i also did some workout routines at home and at the gym. At home, i did squats and crunches while at the gym i have a more intense 2hrs workout that involves cardio and equipments.
From up left to down right: oatmeal with non-fat milk, chicken fry in olive oil, steamed tilapia and veggies, corn and mushroom soup, boiled banana and soy milk and scrambled egg fry in olive oil.

I am happy to share with you the meal i created and eaten for the past 6 days during this meal plan. If you would ask me if i don’t get hungry? I don’t! Because i eat 5x a day. What i learned about having a fast metabolism is that we should eat on time so that our body will not go in starvation mode. Starvation mode, most of the time allows our body to slow down the metabolism and it tends our body to get fat. So better eat small frequent healthy meal.
Today is the start of my General Motors diet, another different meal plan for the week. Again, i promise to share this with you as soon as i finished the week.

Fitness Diary: Week 1/NO CARBS Diet
I was really planning even before to start living healthy and fit but the will to eliminate rice is very hard in my kind of work because i am always out in the field and for sure you will agree that eating brings a lot of happiness.
When i was younger, my body weighs at 45kg but as i aged my heaviest is at 54.5kg, it may sound lighter for a few but given that i am a 5’1 inch tall, 54.5kg is fat already or according to my BMi, i am already obese. My body tends to adjust quickly, i gain easily and lose easily as well which is i hate the most! I miss my younger body where i can eat on a buffet but never gain weight fast. Again since i am starting to age a bit, ou body tends to be a little weaker in those areas, that’s why, serious diet and exercise are needed.
My best friends and i planned to have our summer vacation in Boracay this May. And i am a little pressure because i gained a little pounds and i don’t want to walk around Boracay always on a stomach in just to look good on my swimsuits. You know, Boracay is Boracay. Anyhoo, while i was browsing my facebook timeline i saw some friends on a diet and asked them to share with me their routines and all. So they just added me to a secret group, this group is intended for women only. The goal of the group is to monitor each others progress in terms of food intake and exercise, an experienced diet buddy will share strategies about what is the most effective diet she tried over the years. The moment i joined, they were 1 week advanced when they started since i am new, i need to fast track my diet routine. Its not hard for me to fast track since i also started to have my own routines but this group is just so different because i tend to be more concious about what to eat because i need to share it to the group as well.
These were the only food i ate over the week.
We are done on our NO CARBS routine already. And yes, i am so happy that i already said goodbye to rice. And its not that its done like that and hey i am thin again, to be more fit and lean, i enrolled to a 2months fitness class so i can totally say goodbye to my fat life! We tend not to understand that fat is not like bulgy and bulky body but if we tend to look on our body mass index, there were certain percentage that a body is fat already without you knowing it. Like me, people tend to say that i am not yet fat but on my BMI it already said that my body has a 30% fat or should i say 15kg fat excess, close enough to obesity.
I am so happy that i did everything good and well. I already finished a week and i am so glad that i feel lighter afterwards, and i am looking forward to being healthy and fit.
On our 2nd week, ur routine is the General Motors diet and the insanity workout. I will soon share about it after i finished the routine. TIA.
